Formed in 2003, QMRplus was the quartet of Quin Kirchner, Matthew Golombisky, Robin Boudreaux & Matthew McClimon. While all members wrote for the group, their main focus was on free improvisation, 'spontaneous composition' & creating music in the moment. Working extensively in pre-Katrina New Orleans, shows became creative journeys, with improvised grooves blending in and out of composed material.
